    Meet Brett ….

It takes courage to start or restart therapy. Congratulations on the first step of your journey! In our work together you will realize the potential you have within yourself. Our work together will help you realize your strengths to navigate difficult situations. Our time and space together will be welcoming, non judgmental, empowering, and hope filled.

With a background in many areas of counseling, I can provide support drawing on varied techniques.  I will walk alongside you in your journey to cope with grief: whether it be from death, loss of relationship, loss of job, loss of pregnancy. As you forge your way forth into new realities, we will help you find your own worth and I will guide you as you build a healthy self-concept.

For clients who are searching for a new or deeper understanding of their own spiritual reality, I can provide the support needed to guide you to a place of more understanding. I walk the journey of healing with clients; I have witnessed clients heal emotional and psychological wounds within themselves.  We will work together to build coping tools that will help you overcome anxiety and deal with changes in your daily life.

I’m a firm believer that each person has the answers within themselves. I support your own self autonomy and I’m honored to help you discover your own strengths to live a life of peace, hope, and serenity.

I’m a licensed independent clinical social worker who is also certified as an advanced grief therapist and certified ADHD clinical service provider. I use techniques drawn from humanistic psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness informed therapy.

Brett offers telehealth or in-person appointments at our Rochester office.
