Hi, I’m Wendy Spalinger, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in the mental health field. My philosophy is based on a person-centered approach that recognizes the significance of an individual’s physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
I believe in fostering open communication with my clients, creating a collaborative and supportive environment where they feel empowered to actively participate in their wellness journey. Through increased self-reflection, self-awareness, and acceptance, I work with my clients to recognize their strengths and embrace their challenges.
I believe in the importance of preventative care, lifestyle modifications, and fostering a strong support network to achieve and maintain optimal health.
I have advanced training in Coping with Grief and Loss and have certification as a Grief Counseling Specialist. Additionally, I have received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Anxiety Management, Trauma-Informed Care, and Collaborative Problem-Solving, which provides me with the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals and clinical presentations.
I am a licensed clinician in the state of New Hampshire and Maine. I offer both in-person sessions at our Hampstead office location and telehealth sessions for individuals located in New Hampshire or Maine.
