Fee varies based on clinician experience and appointment or program
Some insurances accepted.
Clients are provided support in getting reimbursement from insurances for out of network access.
Before using your benefits, we encourage you to investigate all options and arrive at an informed decision regarding your health care. You can always decide to use your benefits, but you can’t reverse many of the negative consequences after using them.
The rule is that insurance companies only pay for services that are considered “medically necessary” (more on this below). This means that in order to utilize your medical insurance for mental health treatment, you must be diagnosed with a mental health disorder.
1. If you use insurance, your therapist must give you a diagnosis.
2. Health insurance companies choose your therapist for you. Have you realized that you can only see therapists who have a contract with your insurance company?
3. Your time and treatment is controlled by an insurance company. Again, it is probably an overlooked an unknown fact that insurance companies determine the time intervals that they will pay for and the therapy models they will accept.
For some people it makes sense to use health insurance, but if you can afford to pay out-of-pocket it’s worth considering how much you value your privacy and control over your own treatment decisions. Many therapists have reasonable session fees and will even negotiate for more affordable rates. If you prefer to keep your health information private and in your own control, then talk to your therapists about rate options.
I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
