    Most of the services at LifeBalance Counseling are covered by insurance.

    *** we do accept some local EAP programs ask an intake coordinator about these if you have them.

    Sometimes insurances change/ cancel or have errors and do not cover a session or take back payment for sessions, clients are responsible for the full amount of the appointment in these situations.  Please reach out to intake if you have questions.

    Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

    We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

    • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
    • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
    • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
    • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

    Payment

    We accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment and we do require all clients have a valid credit card on file to cover fees for services, appointment cancellations no shows, deductibles and times insurance denies coverage for appointments.

    Cancellation Policy/ Late Arrival

    We have a strict Late Cancellation/ Arrival policy to ensure that all clients are getting the best care possible and the full amount of time and attention from their provider they deserve.  

    If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 48 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session to the card we require on file.

    We have a strict arrival policy to ensure clients before and after you get the same care as you do.  If you are more than 10 minutes late to an appointment you will be charged a Late Cancel Fee for the missed appointment.
