• Sarah Guth, MSW **COMING SOON**

Greetings! Glad you found me! I know that the journey toward seeking therapy can be hard, and I hope you will consider allowing me to accompany you on your therapeutic journey forward.

A little bit about me: I moved to New Hampshire from Vermont in recent years and continue to enjoy exploring this beautiful state. Sometimes that looks like hiking in the mountains with my golden retriever, but other times it looks like just having a cup of tea and watching the wildlife in my backyard with my family.

I have 12+ years of experience working with children, adolescents/teens and their families, and six additional years post-masters working in various settings such as schools, community mental health and inpatient hospital social work.

As a pre licensed clinician, I am looking forward to my future endeavors at this practice, where I will have the opportunity to use my training from the Solution Focused Institute while being supervised by an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in Mental Health Integrative Medicine.

The Solution Focused model is unique in that it meets many clients’ needs in fewer sessions than traditional models and is designed with cultural inclusivity in mind.

In my sessions, I integrate the Solution Focused model with techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy to help clients meet their personal goals. I believe that a trauma-informed approach is a crucial part of effective therapy, and I am committed to trauma-informed practices and person-centered care.

I have experience with a variety of diagnoses and challenges, but I’m especially interested in working with teens (14+) through middle adulthood needing support in emotional regulation, navigating friend groups, depression, executive dysfunction, anxiety/worry, general life stressors and traumatic/adverse experiences. In Solution Focused Therapy, clinicians operate under the assumption that if something works do it more. If it doesn’t, try something new. Problems are best solved by focusing on what is already working, and how a client would like their life to be, rather than focusing on the past and the origin of problems. If you’re feeling stuck, let’s work together to get you unstuck and on a path toward becoming a happier, healthier version of you.

I am accepting clients with Anthem or private pay for $100. Super bills can be provided to submit to insurance for out of pocket expenses.

I offer Telehealth sessions, however they work for you, whether it’s in the comfort of your home, after school, on your break at work, or parked in your car. I offer various hours in the afternoons and early evenings and more hours to come this summer to accommodate a variety of schedules.
